At Ilia State University, a special structural unit — the Iliauni Student Affairs Department — has been established to support students’ orientation and greater involvement in university life, to ensure an interesting and diverse student experience, and to enable effective communication between the administration and students.
Functions and Responsibilities of the Student Affairs Department
- Supporting the integration of students into the university environment;
- Registering student clubs and facilitating the implementation of student projects;
- Supporting student employment (organizing job fairs, providing information about vacancies);
- Organizing off-site seasonal schools;
- Planning and implementing sports activities;
- Planning interesting projects, public meetings, seminars, and events;
- Registering issues related to the academic process and communicating with the administration.
