Club description:

The goal of the Intercultural Unity Student Club is to raise knowledge among students, create opportunities for fun, and strengthen mutual connections. The club organizes various events, including sports seminars and competitions (in volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc.), where students can make new friends and build connections. There will also be meetings with speakers on art and foreign languages, film screenings to introduce different cultures, and themed parties, while club members will have the opportunity to participate in the “Mentor Friend” program. In addition, the club facilitates the sharing of diverse cultural and linguistic knowledge among students. The club’s main goal is for all students, especially international students, to have the opportunity to actively participate in university events, because we believe that student life is far more diverse than formal education alone. Accordingly, the club will spare no effort to ensure that every student has the opportunity for full engagement, enjoyment, and self-realization.

Goals:

• Equipping students with skills in demand on the labor market;
• Holding meetings, championships, and other events related to fun, engagement, and cultural exchange;
• Improving multicultural inclusiveness;
• Informing students about the importance of building connections;
• Raising awareness about diversity.

Conditions for accepting new members

• Any active student of any direction at Ilia State University can join the club;
• Those interested must fill out the registration form on the club’s page, after which they will be registered in the relevant database.
