Folk Song Student Club

The folk song ensemble of Ilia State University students was created in 2012, and its goal is to bring together students interested in Georgian folk music, chants, and the music of the peoples of the world.

The ensemble is led by ethnomusicologist Tamaz Gabisonia, an associate professor at Ilia State University. The president of the ensemble’s student club is Maia Minashvili.
