The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Club was founded at the end of 2023. Any student from any faculty of Ilia State University can join the club.

The club’s goals are:

• To deepen the knowledge of Ilia State University students or interested individuals about electronic engineering;
• Based on acquired experience and knowledge, to improve old tools and gadgets and to design and build new ones;
• To make optimal use of the university’s engineering study equipment, to repair built devices or, if they cannot be repaired, to disassemble them and reuse the parts.

Tasks and activities:

• Organizing a meeting at a chosen time to discuss the club’s goals and objectives. Members will get to know each other and discuss common issues. The semester’s main action plan will be set by vote and can be modified during the academic year.
• Organizing meetings twice a week, where members, following the action plan drawn up at the first meeting, study electronic engineering equipment, take experimental readings, share knowledge, and work on tools and gadgets.
• Proper use of the university’s electrical and electronic engineering study equipment and classifying it into three categories (working, repairable, and non-repairable). Based on the obtained data, decisions are made regarding the use of the equipment.

Club membership and criteria:

• Only students of Ilia State University can join the club;
• They must know English at a B1-B2 level;
• To work on the tasks, they must have a basic foundation in algebra and the ability to work with various types of numbers (real, irrational, rational numbers, etc.).
